3 Detroit schools get grants to fight obesity

Three Detroit schools are among 63 across the state awarded grants to help fight childhood obesity. The grants are part of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan\'s Building Healthy Communities school program. Grants have been awarded to schools across the state to help children incorporate exercise and healthy eating into their lifestyles. Blue Cross has partnered with Wayne State University\'s College of Education Center for School Health and the Michigan Fitness Foundation on the program.
